Principal Seat is built to keep your job search private. This page explains, in plain language, what the app does with your information.

What we collect

Nothing. The app does not collect, sell or share your personal data. We do not receive your roles, recruiters, people, companies, notes or any other content you enter.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, and it syncs across your own devices the same way. It is governed by your Apple account and Apple's terms. We have no access to it.

Analytics and ads

The app contains no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers. This website also loads nothing from other sites and uses no trackers.

Contacts

If you choose to import from Contacts, the app reads only the contacts you pick. It does not read your whole address book.

Notifications

Follow-up reminders are local notifications created and delivered on your device. They are not sent through our servers.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
