PRINCIPAL SEAT

Features

Principal Seat is built for the way a senior search actually runs: few roles, long timelines, many people involved. Every screen shown on this site uses the built-in fictional demo search.

Today

A daily dashboard shows what needs attention, your upcoming calls for the next seven days, a pipeline funnel that shows where each role stands, and flags for quiet opportunities, the ones you have not touched in a while.

Pipeline

Track every opportunity with a status (Prospect, Active, On Hold, Inactive or Closed with an outcome) and a stage such as screening call, interviewing, final round or offer. Filter by status, search by name, person or note, and save the views you use most.

Opportunity detail

Each role holds the company, title, next step, follow-up date and your own notes. One tap starts a call, an email, a prep sheet or a log entry.

Log a touch

Log a touch in a moment whenever you speak with someone about a role, so you can see how recently you were in contact. Opportunities with no recent contact are flagged as quiet.

Prep sheet

Open a one-page prep sheet for any opportunity before a call, with the context you saved about the role, the company and the people involved.

Calendar

See your follow-ups and calls in Month, Week and Day views. Use Add to Calendar to put an event in your own calendar. The event includes a principalseat:// link that opens the opportunity in the app.

Documents

Attach documents to an opportunity, or scan them in, so the files for a role stay with the role.

Compensation

Keep offers and indications in one place and compare them side by side. A privacy lock asks for Face ID or your passcode before compensation is shown.

People and companies

Keep recruiters, executives and board contacts with their details and history. Company profiles collect the website, headquarters, executives, board and news. Import people from Contacts, choosing which ones to bring in, and export them when you need to.

Follow-ups and updates

See what is overdue and what is due in the next seven days. Turn on reminders if you want a nudge. An updates feed collects changes in one list.

Sunday evening summary

An optional notification arrives on Sunday evening with a summary of your search. It shows counts only, never names or details.

Import from a file

Bring in an existing tracker, or updates, from a file, to start with everything at once.

Apple Watch

A companion app shows your next calls and follow-ups on your wrist.

iCloud sync

Your search stays in step across iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud account.

Demo mode

Demo mode is a built-in fictional sample search. Switch to it from Settings to show the app to anyone, without touching your real data. Your real search is not changed or shown while Demo mode is on, and nothing syncs or goes to the watch until you switch back.

Private by design

Your data stays in your own iCloud account. We do not run a server that holds your search, and we do not collect it. See the privacy policy.

Built in help

A short tutorial and a Help section with quick answers are in the app, and you can replay the tour at any time.
